BIOGRAPHY

Alex Miller is a trumpet player, composer, and teacher from Binghamton, New York.

Born in 1995, he grew up surrounded by music with parents who are active musicians and music educators. Throughout high school, Alex played trumpet and was an active musical participant throughout the Binghamton area.

 

He then attended Ithaca College for music education, where he began to find his interest in jazz, commercial music, and composing. Throughout school he participated in numerous projects, including Mike Titlebaum’s Music Because Music, Scopes Monkey Trial, Butter, along with freelancing and teaching throughout the Binghamton and Ithaca area. In 2017 he released his first EP “Two Weeks Later…” which featured 5 original compositions.

 

Upon graduation in 2017, Alex plans to continue his education at Syracuse University for a Masters in Music Education while continuing to write and record in preparation for a full length album.
